European Metal Festival Alliance MEMBERS LAUNCH ‘METAL UNITED’ CHARITY T-SHIRT
The t-shirt will be available HERE for 16,66 Euro, with proceeds going to Music Saves UA.
Members of the European Metal Festival Alliance (EMFA), have today launched a new ‘Metal United’ t-shirt, with all proceeds going to a recognized relief charity to aid Ukrainian people most in need in their current crisis and their suffering through war.
The festivals taking part in this important fundraiser – Alcatraz Festival, Belgium; Art Mania Festival, Romania; Bloodstock Open Air, Great Britain; Brutal Assault, Czech Republic; Dynamo Metalfest, Holland; Inferno Metal Festival, Norway; Into The Grave, Holland; Leyendas Del Rock, Spain; Midgardsblot, Norway; Motocultor Festival, France; Party.San Metal Open Air, Germany; Resurrection Fest, Spain; and Summer Breeze Open Air, Germany – are all united against war and suppression, and welcome all people, no matter what country they are from, or what race or religion they are. The festivals want to make plain that they are not for Ukrainians and against Russians; that they wish most of all to just help people who are in need in these troubling times.
Vlad Yaremchuk, Booker of Atlas Weekend Festival, co-initiators of Music Saves UA, states:
“We are the All-Ukrainian Association of Music Events, in peacetime we are the largest association of representatives of the music industry of our country.
Now, normal life in Ukraine has completely stopped. So, we are using all our resources and people to provide humanitarian help to our people who need it the most right now. Our team works 24/7 to help as many victims of this cruel war as possible.
Humanitarian help center has already been deployed on the premises of the Atlas venue in Kyiv. We are also working on setting up refugee assistance centers on the borders with Europe to facilitate a safe and robust infrastructure for hundreds of thousands of civilians fleeing the country. Our entire team is currently located in multiple cities of Ukraine, and we are in close contact with volunteers, Ukrainian military, and humanitarian groups so we are aware of the current urgent needs on the ground and are ready to provide immediate help where it is most needed at this very moment.
Therefore, we need financial assistance urgently. For this we have organized a project aimed at raising funds for the humanitarian needs of the civilians in Ukraine.
We encourage you to not remain indifferent and to help Ukrainian families to survive this difficult time.”

W:O:A is a place where Metalheads of all nationalities come together in harmony. Of course, we are fully aware the world isn’t as peaceful as we’d hope for and as we experience on our Holy Ground. The situation in Ukraine is a painful reminder. We are shocked and deeply saddened by the pictures and news we receive out of Kyiv, Kharkiv and other regions of the country.
We have no illusions about be being able to put an end to this war. But we still firmly believe that music has the power to bring people together and to give strength. This is why we will feature Ukrainian bands performing at W:O:A on WackenTV in the upcoming days, starting with Motanka, placed 2nd at our Metal Battle 2018. Check out the playlist here.
As we do so, we would like to encourage you to give whatever support you can. For example, by donating money to organizations that care for people escaping from the violence. UNHCR is one of many organizations doing so. Alternatively, you can check which in-kind donations are most urgently needed at the moment. From Wacken, for example, 10,000 rescue blankets were sent on the way yesterday. Or maybe there are initiatives in your area or the possibility to join rallies. This is also a way of showing the people affected that they are not alone. Perhaps you even have the possibility to shelter refugees, for information on this please visit Unterkunft Ukraine (unterkunft-ukraine.de).
Metalheads, let’s continue to stand united for peace and hope in these dark times! Our hearts are with the people in and from Ukraine. And they are with the people in Russia raising their voices against the war.

You don’t have to enlist to the add-ons listed below to get a camping spot at Summer Breeze.

For your camp:
Mobile battery boxes supply you with power for the whole festival weekend. And best of all: If the power station is empty, you can exchange it for a new one as often as you like; there are several exchange stations available for this purpose. Would you like to take care of your cold drinks right away? You can connect this cooling box directly to your Powerstation.
Lockers:
Do you want to store your valuables safely and charge your electronic devices at the same time? Then book your locker from Mobile-Locker here! You will find the lockers at the festival entrance.
COMFORT CAMPING:
The COMFORT CAMPING is ideal if you do not own a tent, your journey is very long, or you simply do not feel like carrying everything around with you. Just imagine: You come to the festival area, your tent is already set up, you just have to move in and open your first beer while the others are still busy setting up.

There are two important changes in the daily running orders for SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2022: BLIND GUARDIAN will now play on Saturday, August 20, while WITHIN TEMPTATION will rock the stage on Friday, August 19.
If you bought day tickets because of one of these bands, you can exchange or return them without any problems if you don’t have time on the new days.
Just send an email to shop@summer-breeze.de and our store team will take care of it.
Print@home tickets are available for Wednesday for the price of €69,90, Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the price of €79,90. Find the tickets in our shop HERE. Plus: each day there’s going to be a limited number of one-day tickets available at the festival box office, valid only for the same day.
The festival box office opens at 10:00 a.m. every day and is open until 10:00 p.m. From 10:00 p.m. ‘til midnight you can buy the tickets at the vehicle control on Black Earth. The day parking lot is just opposite the entrance to the camp site and is signposted. Parking is not included in the ticket price. Camping is not allowed for one-day ticket holders.
