\nJust a few weeks from now the gates to METALFEST LORELEY will open and from June 20 \u2013 22 more than 30 handpicked bands are taking part that belong to the biggest, heaviest and most exciting acts the genre has to offer. Bands like SLAYER, SUBWAY TO SALLY, ACCEPT, CHILDREN OF BODOM, TESTAMENT, SAXON, DORO, DOWN and many more are going to rock the Rhine Valley!<\/p>\n

Now HYPOCRISY & KRISIUN have been confirmed for METALFEST LORELEY 2013. ARCH ENEMY had to cancel their performance due to familial reasons, find the band statement below.<\/p>\n

These are the new entrants:
\nHYPOCRISY
\nPeter T\u00e4gtgren wrote death metal history in 1990: the year he founded HYPOCRISY! Gems like \u201cPenetralia\u201d (1992) or \u201cAbducted\u201d (1996) turned out to be landmark releases in terms of Scandinavian brutality mixed with epic melodies \u2013 could anyone ever forget that immortal hymn \u201cRoswell 47\u201d? The Swedish death metal legends are far from being done though: just check out their brand new opus \u201cEnd of disclosure\u201d (2013)!<\/p>\n

KRISIUN
\nFounded in 1990, Brasilian death metal worshippers KRISIUN made sure pretty fast the whole extreme metal world would never forget their name. The power trio killed everything with its debut \u201cBlack force domain\u201d in 1995, and their sheer old school force and brutal approach hasn`t faded a bit to this very day. Recently KRISIUN unleashed the demo and rarities collection \u201cArise from blackness\u201d.<\/p>\n

Statement ARCH ENEMY:
\n\u201cIt is with great disappointment that we have to cancel our shows at European festivals this summer. The reason for this being private family matters that demand our full attention, making it difficult to fulfill our commitments in that time frame. We are currently looking into the possibility of rescheduling these festival slots for next year. We would like to thank the festival promoters, and of course the fans for their understanding and continued support. We will use this downtime to finish up the work on our upcoming DVD\/Blu-ray and continue with the songwriting process of the next Arch Enemy album. We look forward to seeing you all in 2014! Metal on!\u201d<\/p>\n
