The first few ticket outlets are already announcing they are SOLD OUT! In the Silverdust Shop, too, the numbers of tickets are already down to a few hundred. In a few days they should be gone as well. So don’t hesitate and secure your ticket for the party of the year, either on www.silverdust-shop.de<\/a> or one of the many associated ticket outlets!<\/p>\n

On http:\/\/www.summer-breeze.de\/site.php?name=Tickets<\/a> you can always check which associated ticket outlets still have tickets available for SUMMER BREEZE 2011. Only those who have access to Easy Tickets stocks may have some more available. But also in this case you have to be quick before the SOLD OUT sign is finally on the door.<\/p>\n

2.: Two more bands confirmed – Grand Magus and Burden of grief
\nWe are stoked to announce the last two additions to the SUMMER BREEZE 2011 bill:
\nWhen it comes to pure, unadulterated steel, GRAND MAGUS delivered the album of the year 2010 with their masterpiece ‘Hammer Of The North’. While the Swedes’ first albums were in a more laid-back doom style, the band led by the unique vocalist JB have been rocking in a more traditional fashion since their 2008 breakthrough album ‘Iron Will’ , so their music should appeal to more than just Sabbath\/Candlemass disciples. Even fans of Judas Priest attest to the fact that GRAND MAGUS are the next big thing, especially at SUMMER BREEZE 2011!<\/p>\n

If there was ever a list of the most underrated bands, BURDEN OF GRIEF would certainly be at the top. 11 years after their awesome debut album ‘Haunting Requiems’ it is still an enigma why they weren’t able to make it during theabsolute heyday of Gothenburg melodic death metal (and after). Because, unlike the main acts such as In Flames and company, these likeable fellows from Northern Germany always stayed true to themselves and hardly ever opened their sound to alien experiments. Fittingly, the proof is last year’s killer album ‘Follow The Flames’. Welcome to a gripping introduction to the essence of German melodic death metal.<\/p>\n

3.: Finalists of the NEW BLOOD AWARD 2011 announced!
\nYou have cast your vote! The finalists of the NEW BLOOD AWARD 2011 have been determined! This year six bands will once again compete for the underground crown. The following newcomers received the most votes in our online voting:

These bands will open the metallic proceedings at SUMMER BREEZE 2011 in the Party Tent on Wednesday August 17th, 2011 from 15:00 in front of you and an expert jury, competing for the NEW BLOOD AWARD trophy \u2013 which is up for grabs for the second time this year \u2013 and the opening slot on the following day on one of the main stages. Thank you very much \u2013 also on behalf of the bands involved \u2013 for your active participation in the voting process! The winners of the 5 x 2 three-day-tickets will be notified shortly!<\/p>\n

4.: Billing complete
\nMathematicians and attentive SUMMER BREEZE festivalgoers may have already deduced it from points 2 and 3 of this newsletter: With the addition of the bands mentioned above, the final billing for SUMMER BREEZE is now complete.<\/p>\n
