Graspop Lineup complete

With the addition of 21 new acts for a grand total of 108 bands the line-up for Graspop Metal Meeting 2015 is now complete. The three winners of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam contest will be announced on 10 May at the end of finals day in concert hall Trix, Antwerp.

These are the new and final additions for Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Tremonti, Ensiferum, Evergrey, Pop Evil, The Haunted, Chelsea Grin, Code Orange, Evil Invaders, Heidevolk, Upon a Burning Body, Battle Beast, The Dead Daisies and King Hiss.

The headliners were announced earlier so here’s a reminder of some of the big guns for this year’s anniversary edition: Kiss, Marilyn Manson, Judas Priest, Slipknot, Scorpions, Faith No More, Motörhead, Korn, Within Temptation and many more.

TOP BELGIAN METAL NIGHT ON THURSDAY 18 JUNE
As usual Thursday night is all about some of the best bands the Belgian metal scene has to offer. Bliksem, Oceans of Sadness, Your Highness and Hell City will proudly fly the flag for Belgian metal on the Jupiler Stage.

The Marquee is hosting a Monsters of Metal Tribute Party. DioLegacy, Art of Pantera, Up the Irons and Present Danger will pay tribute to some of the biggest bands on the planet. The perfect excuse to let your hair down, sing along and bang that head!

More heavy tunes in the Metal Dome where the three winners of the Red Bull Bedroom Jam traditionally get to make their big Graspop debut on Thursday night. The Bedroom Jam finals on 10 May in concert hall Trix, Antwerp, will decide which three bands survive the rigorous selection process. If you want to be there on Thursday night please keep in mind only combi ticket holders have access to the campsite and the festival arena on Thursday 18 June. No separate day tickets are available for Thursday 18 June.

CARCASS @ Dong 2015

Our friends of the DONG Open Air have news:
As promised, we got you yet another top class act as a special guest for the Dong Open Air 2015. Today, we are proud to announce that it’s no one less than a troop of melodic death metal pioneers, as well as of death metal and grindcore: Carcass are going to make their way up the Dong hill!

Since the second half of the 1980s, Bill steer and Jeff Walkers have been pushing their musical career, setting standards in more than one genre with their involvement in several bands. Besides Carcass, we should mention Napalm Death. They are partly to blame for what we today know as Arch Enemy. Take a look at the band profile on the Dong Open Air website to find out more – for example what on earth “Jeff Walker and the Flüffers” is all about.

We are looking forward to welcome yet another icon of the metal world to beautiful Mount Moshmore!

apparently you can hardly wait for the ticket sale to start – we’ve received so many requests from you when the pre-sale for the 22nd edition of your favourite heavy event will finally start and we can tell you – very soon! We’ve also come up with a little Halloween Special which will surely excite you: As of 31st October 00:01 in the morning the campaign will start: aside from the promised Community Shirt in your size you will also get a WFF Live DVD from the last years as well as Shirt from the fanshop collection (also in your size) for free!
