Wacken2019 – Running Order now online!

RUNNING ORDER ONLINE!
Dear metalheads, here we go with the first edition of our W:O:A 2019 running order.
But first we’d like to point out two things. We’re moving the Metal Battle finals to the new History Stage. Yes, you’ve read that right – we’re expanding with a „new“ stage for wich we used actual „old“ parts from our early days main stage, which had been graced by Doro, Saxon or Böhse Onkelz.
Even W:O:A Founder Thomas Jensen dropped a few basslines here with his band Skyline. But compared to those days we built the whole thing inside a huge tent to create another weather proof area on the festival site. This is a piece of metal history coming back to life and an appropriate setting for the best metal acts of the future. This also means that the finalists of the Metal Battle will be able to play longer sets with 30 minutes slots.
And yes, Sabaton will be performing on both stages at the same time, delivering a massive and unique show. Not to bad for a 20th band anniversary, eh?
This first version of our running order only contains the musical part. Spoken word performances and other items will be added later of course. In other news: Desktop users can now choose an additional view. A customizable version of the running order will be available before the festival.

Our friends of the DONG Open Air have news:

Thar she blows! The running order for the Dong Open Air 2019! As usually, we tried our best to put together three diverse days for you. Take a look and do a double take on our band profiles, because a band unknown to you may just turn into your favorite artist soon!

Unfortunately Silver Talon cancelled their appearance.
Fortunately we found a great new act to jump in: Elvellon with their symphonic tunes!

On Sunday, the 2nd of June, we will expand our offer in the shop to provide some day passes. Don’t wait too long – the sale is still going strong. Tickets available in our webshop, metaltix.com, eventim.de, and most German ticket shops.

DONG: THREE QUARTERS OF ALL TICKETS SOLD!

Our friends of the DONG Open Air have news:

Dear listeners,

Please note that three quarters for the tickets for the 2019 Dong Open Air have been sold. We double checked and recalculated and have come to the conclusion that this is a full 75%! If you do not yet own a ticket, we only have one quarter of all tickets left to change this.

Our mathematicians have also come to the conclusion:

The likeliness of the sold out status in 2019 before the festival takes place: “Highly likely. Even more likely than last year.”
Proposed purchase date for the last tickets: “Now, man!”

Get your tickets in our online shop, on metaltix.com, eventim.de and at many German ticket shops. Be there, because it’ll be even better with you!
