Our friends of the DONG Open Air have news:

DESTRUCTION, HAMMOND PAGAN, AND PADERBORN POWER!
Care for a little more thrash? No one less than the Teutonic thrash icon Destruction will make you line up for their pit’s role call up on Mount Moshmore. The Mad Butcher will – alongside Exodus – will beat your blood in and back out, promised!
Alvenrad from the Netherlands will serve you a side of never heard blend of melodic folk metal, blast beats, and Hammond organ!
Last but not least, we are happy to announce the return of Torian! The Paderborn-based Dong veterans are experts in the field of catchy power metal choruses – we’re looking forward to many raised fists during “Diamonds and Tyrants”!
Never heard of these folks, but care to change that sorry state? No problem, drop by our band profiles and listen to the audio samples!

Wacken running order online!

Happy Easter dear Metalheads! Today we present you the first version of our running order for Wacken Open Air 2018.
Please note: Changes are possible at any time before the festival starts. As always, we try to consider all your change requests.
We are already working on some annoyances of the current version, such as the clash of Behemoth and Vallenfyre. Here we ask for some patience!

ELUVEITIE, FLAMENCO DEATH, AND ROCK’N’ROLL
Well, well, ladies and gentlemen,
Today, we’ll present you as the start of our third wave of bands three new additions for three grand days with a view!
Eluveitie, the internationally most renowned folk metal band, returns to the Dong Hill with yet another successful album!
They will be supported by Impureza from France, who bring along a Mediterranean flair and their great blend of death metal and flamenco!
We have also committed Tyler Leads from Recklinghausen for some dirty Ruhrpott Rock’n’Roll!
Don’t have tickets yet? Nobody’s perfect – but our shop on dongopenair.de or the colleagues at metaltix.com will help you out!

Graspop Line up complete!

Belgium’s biggest and best mecca of metal is only 100 days away! Time to complete the line-up and to report on ticket sales and accommodation during the festival.

Graspop Metal Meeting, a 4-day event this year only, will take place in Dessel from Thursday, 21 June until Sunday, 24 June 2018. With fantastic headliners: Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, Volbeat and Ozzy Osbourne and sub-headliners that are just as exhilarating: Avenged Sevenfold, Judas Priest, A Perfect Circle, Marilyn Manson, Ghost, and Parkway Drive. Another 16 names were added to the GMM18 line-up today. The line-up for GMM18 is now complete. SEE Above!!!

Graspop – 26 new names

A new year and a new list of names for Graspop Metal Meeting 2018. The 23rd edition is going to be a vintage year. The addition of these 26 bands more or less completes the bill.
