The Scalding new at Dong lineup, Arch enemy update

Our friends of the DONG Open Air have news:
It’s spring time. Everything is renewing and growing. This also applies to the Dong Open Air line-up. Together with Aardschock, the Dutch No.1 heavy music magazine, the Dong Open Air selected The Scalding as the winner of the battle of the bands from the Netherlands. The death metal band from Heerlen in the beautiful province of Limburg are going to rock the hill. We already have a connection: Limburg is known for their spoil tips! What is that? The same type of hill as the Dong hill! Made of waste rock removed during coal mining.
Unexpected news reached us from Arch Enemy. After thirteen years with the enemies, Angela Gossow decided to step off the stage and to devote herself to managing the band instead. Her successor will already be the on the new album “War Eternal” which is going to be released in July. It’s Alissa White-Gluz from the Canadian kick ass professionals of The Agonist. We are convinced that Alissa is a worthy new candidate and is going to deliver not only at the show on our hill, but also on the new album! More info and the brand new video with Alissa, “War Eternal”, in our updated Arch Enemy band profile!
All hail Dong!
Your Dong Team!
