Registration for the METAL MOBILE WC
After the amazingly good development in 2010, we again are starting the unique rental service for the METAL MOBILE WCs. In 2010 all 150 WCs where booked up within 4 hours! So better buck up in 2011!
Shuttle bus plans online
The new shuttle bus plans which are providing you with the complete arrival and departure times from Itzehoe to Wacken and back are online now. You can download them either as coloured or black/white version in PDF format on the official site.
The American pioneer of Heavy Metal Comedy comes to Wacken!
Known for his famous “Heavy Metal Man” stand up comedy tour, and movies such as “Half Baked,” Jim Breuer will perform on Wacken stages for the first time. In addition to Saturday Night Live and his movie roles, Breuer has been seen on VH1, MTV, Disney and Comedy Central, and heard on the airwaves with his own radio show! We are very happy to welcome Mr. Breuer at Wacken Open Air where he’s performing a really special debut show on Thursday and Friday at W:O:A´s Bullhead City tent. Metal Party of German military police in Afghanistan
Also in Kunduz – in the north of Afghanistan – you may meet Metalheads. A group of Germany soldiers from the “25. Deutschen Einsatzkontingent” are not only metal fans but also fans of Wacken Open Air Festival. We heard that those guys organize a metal party for their comrades and of course we will support them with a huge metal package! We´re looking forward to receiving pictures from your party!
